Plane:
The most direct route is to fly to Donegal airport (Carrickfinn) (from Dublin). It is only a 20-25 min car drive from us. Car rental is available. Taxis cost about 20 euro.
Flights to Donegal: Dublin to Donegal flies twice a day (Aer Lingus). Departs 1315 or 1900. Please note this is a ‘small’ plane (52 seater)
UK to Dublin: several flights a day from both Heathrow and Gatwick.
Flights to Belfast: Heathrow to Belfast City Airport (George Best) – fly Aer Lingus (several flights a day) and hire a car (approx. 3 hour drive to Dungloe) Gatwick to Belfast International Airport – fly Easy Jet (several flights a day) and hire a car (approx. 3 hour drive to Dungloe)
Flights to Derry: Stanstead to Derry- Fly BMI (twice a day. Departs 0830 and 1735) and hire a car (approx. 1.5 hour drive to Dungloe)
Ferries:
Liverpool – Belfast. Several sailings daily and nightly
Cairnryan (Scotland) – Larne or Belfast. Several sailings daily.
